The ledge here creates a shelf and room for bathroom cabinet space between the double pedestal sinks. This design has room for visible and invisible display and storage. Very versatile.

I know it’s the end of April so Christmas-themed towels are probably far from your mind but I saw this and had to post it. The photographer used her old wine rack as a hand towel rack. It’s a clever idea and I’m sure there are creative wine racks out there that could be reused this way.

Most photos of bathrooms are taken from the doorway so it’s refreshing to see a photo like this. For such a cramped space, the bathroom’s owner has done a lot – 2 racks for towels, the shelving above the toilet, the bookcase with the baskets for storage (and some counter space), the framed art & cabinet on the wall. Nice.

If you have things to stash in your bathroom (think towels, makeup, toiletries, big bottles of shampoo from Costco, etc.) you’re going to need some serious bathroom cabinets. Here, the cabinets line one wall but are visually interesting by having a tall cabinet, a vanity (which I hope has storage underneath) and then the low cabinet with plenty of counter space. Plus, I love the towel rack being right below the sink!

Cabinets are the one thing that can maximize your storage while limiting your overall space in a bathroom. A small, shallow cabinet like this one could be used to hold medicines and toiletries instead of a mirrored cabinet over the sink. This one is above the toilet.
