If you’ve got a larger bathroom space and an attic full of grandma’s furniture, consider using a dresser in the bathroom for storage.

Some people stick to the traditional “white bathroom” concept and others go there own way. Here, the dark brown of the vanity and the mirror contrast with the green walls. And look at the hand towel – nice find!

This bathroom owner tied the look together by finding a pink fabric that matched the color of the wall and attaching it at the bottom of the curtain. This also breaks up the color in case the green in the shower curtain doesn’t match the green in the bathmat.

The use of the light gray blends well with the frosted glass on the mirror and makes the small space feel more open. Yet, when you look at the white toilet, sink, floor tiles and shower, you realize that the wall color can be switched out at any time.

Here, the cabinets line one wall but are visually interesting by having a tall cabinet, a vanity (which I hope has storage underneath) and then the low cabinet with plenty of counter space. Plus, I love the towel rack being right below the sink!

The only bad things about stand-alone bathtubs are having to buy two shower curtains and two shower liners so that they reach all the way around. This is an especially cheery curtain featuring different hues of brown and pink.

The mirror’s size, its ornate frame, its position above the sink (on what looks to be an otherwise empty wall) make it the focal point of this wall. No telling what the rest of the room looks like, but the repetitive patterns on the wall and floor make the mirror that much more attention grabbing.
